Mary-Pier Lareau, LL.B.

Lawyer

A Law graduate from Université de Sherbrooke, Me Mary-Pier Lareau initially joined Bernier Fournier’s team to complete her professional internship pursuant to the Bar’s articling program in winter 2021. She is now continuing her role in the team as a lawyer.

During her studies, Me Lareau participated in the 42nd edition of the Tribunal-École Pierre-Basile-Mignault, a moot court competition between the law faculties of Quebec and the University of Ottawa, where she and her teammates won the Coupe SOQUIJ and the Coupe du Bâtonnier du Québec.

She also completed a clinical activity with a judge of the Court of Quebec and a public service lawyer.

She has been able to fulfill such commitments while maintaining an exemplary academic performance. Indeed, she was named to the Dean’s List for the excellence of her academic results during her second and third year of bachelor’s degree.

During her internship, she worked on several major cases, particularly in Civil Law and Labor Law, areas in which she now focuses her legal practice.

Eager for new knowledge and challenges, she will also be called upon to collaborate with experienced lawyers of Bernier Fournier’s team working in other areas of Law.
