Daniel Wysocki began his legal studies at Collège Ahuntsic where he obtained a diploma of collegial studies in paralegal technology in 2008. He then went on to pursue his studies in law at Université de Sherbrooke in 2011. Also, during his university studies, Me Wysocki received an admission scholarship for the graduate program in common law and trans-border law (Juris Doctor) of Université de Sherbrooke, a program that he also successfully completed in 2011.

Daniel Wysocki went on to complete the Bar’s professional internship in 2012 and began his professional career with a Montreal-based firm where he focused solely on defending his clients’ interests with public bodies.

Me Wysocki joined Bernier Fournier’s team in January 2014 and was appointed to the position of associate lawyer in June 2016. He focuses his practice on labour and employment law, specifically with respect to occupational health and safety, civil litigation and representations before various administrative tribunals.

In matters of labour and employment law and occupational health and safety, M. Wysocki has represented many employers during the renewal of the collective agreement, in matters of complaints for dismissal without just and sufficient cause and prohibited practice, during claims by employees for amounts due as well as during individual or collective dismissal. M. Wysocki is regularly called upon to defend the interests of employers before the Tribunal administratif du travail (TAT) regarding labour relations, employment injuries, or even during grievances before arbitrators. The latter is also working as an advisor before a legal dispute arises, particularly in matters of psychological or sexual harassment, which allows employers to make more informed decisions regarding their rights.

Daniel Wysocki also practises civil law and has pleaded many cases before the Court of Quebec and the Superior Court, involving matters of civil liability for personal injuries, hidden defects, contract terminations, disability insurance and salary insurance benefits.

Finally, Me Wysocki possesses vast experience in administrative law and has helped a great number of litigants before the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST), the Indemnisation des victimes d’actes criminels (IVAC) as well as Retraite Québec (RQ).

Me Wysocki got involved with Parrainage Civique Drummond, an organization whose mission is to promote the valorization, integration and social participation of people living with an intellectual disability. After having sat on the organization’s board of directors for more than two years, he was elected as vice-president of the board of directors on June 8, 2016, and finally president of the board of directors on June 19, 2019, a position he held until September 2020.

In August 2017, Me Wysocki joined the SPIN 8 organization as a member of its organizing committee. Through its annual spinning activity, the organization collects some $15,000 which it in turn donates to a non-profit institution in the Drummondville region.

From 2018 to 2021, Me Wysocki sat on the board of directors of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Drummond, which defends the collective interests of the City of Drummondville and the RCM of Drummond and contributes to improving the region’s economic growth and quality of life. Since 2021, Me Wysocki has held the position of Vice-president and member of the executive committee of the Chambre du Commerce et d’Industrie de Drummond.

Also from 2018 to 2021, Me Wysocki served as chairman of the Cégep de Drummondville’s research ethics committee, an independent committee that evaluates the ethical compliance of research projects involving the participation of individuals.
