Me Elizabeth Croteau obtained her bachelor of law (co-op path) from Université de Sherbrooke in 2017.
During her studies, Me Croteau completed two co-op internships with the team at Bernier Fournier. During these internships, she had the opportunity to familiarize herself with several areas of law, including civil law, criminal law, labour law and corporate law. She also completed her professional internship pursuant to the Bar’s articling program in 2018 within the public service. During her professional internship, she focused on defending her clients in criminal and youth protection cases. She has developed trial experience at different stages of the judicial process.
Me Croteau was also involved at several levels during her studies. She worked at the Université de Sherbrooke’s legal information clinic where she gained experience serving a diverse clientele with a variety of legal needs.
Moreover, she worked with a law professor from Université de Sherbrooke and the experience gave her the opportunity to perfect her knowledge of criminal law as well as her research abilities.
Me Croteau is hard working and very attentive to her clients’ needs. She practises mainly in criminal and penal law as well as labour law.
She decided to begin her professional career with Bernier Fournier.
